Davidsons Homes donate to local homeless and community support charity
Davidsons Homes is excited to donate a range of soft furnishings including pillows, blankets, bed lining, quilts and cushions to the George Smith Hub.
Enrych are working in partnership with the Falcon Centre to run the George Smith Hub, a new community hub in the centre of Coalville.
The soft furnishings and bedding, from previous Davidsons showhomes, will be distributed to those in supported living and emergency accommodations, to create a more comfortable and homely living environment.
With the name originating from George Smith, the local philanthropist, the George Smith Hub was created for the local community to access a relaxing and welcoming space to socialise, talk and receive support. The new hub, which opened its doors on the 5th May 2022, hosts a range of activities such as knitting, board games and bingo as well as running a community café, serving a variety of food and drinks.
The Falcon charity has been helping the homeless for 20 years, supporting those in need to find their independence. Davidsons Homes is pleased to join forces with the George Smith Hub and will continue to support in the future.
