Davidsons provides boost to Ashby health centre

A doctors’ surgery in Ashby has made improvements to its waiting area thanks to a donation from Davidsons Homes.

We donated £500 to Castle Medical Group as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community.

The surgery has used the money to purchase a new wheelchair, a large freestanding notice board and a large faux planted pot to make the waiting area more inviting.

Dr John Addison, GP Partner from Castle Medical Group, said: “We’re thrilled to have been given this donation by Davidsons Homes, which has enabled us to improve the waiting area for our patients and to buy a much needed piece of equipment for the centre.

“We have a Friends charity which raises funds for equipment and services which are not provided by the NHS so any donations which help us improve the service we can offer are always very welcome. We are extremely grateful to Davidsons Homes for their support.”

Stephanie King, Sales Director for Davidsons Homes, said: “We are pleased to be building a relationship with the Castle Medical Group by making this donation towards new equipment. We hope these additions have a positive impact on patients’ experience at the medical centre, which we know provides such a valued service to the local community.”
