Houlton welcomes first Davidsons homebuyers, The Davidsons!
Housebuilders at the new community of Houlton, Davidsons Homes, are preparing to welcome their first homebuyers – who also happen to be called the Davidsons.
Created by master developers Urban&Civic, Houlton will welcome its first homeowners in December, in time for Christmas.
The Davidsons discovered their ideal family home at the Davidsons Homes’ Open Day earlier this year, securing a four-bedroom detached property.
Dad Ewan, mum Jenna and their daughter Rose were drawn to Houlton by its excellent transport links and high quality community facilities. The new primary school, St Gabriel’s C of E Academy, which will offer 30 places for reception aged children in its first intake in September 2018, has already seen applications flood in.
Jenna says: “Houlton really stood out to us – it’s so much more than a development. As a full new community it gives us everything we could look for.
“From excellent schooling provision and facilities to the things that make for great family time: wide open spaces and cycleways, and even dining venues and shops.”
Ewan adds: “The transport links were particularly important to us. I travel all over the Midlands for my job, and easy access to the M1, M6 and A14 is essential, so Houlton’s excellent commuter links are ideal for me.”
“We’ve had such a positive experience through the buying process with Davidsons Homes, so much so that we even recommended them to our neighbours, who’ve now also reserved a property at Houlton!
“We can’t wait to get the keys to our new family home – moving in just before Christmas will make this festive season even more special.”
Stephanie King, Sales Director at Davidsons Homes said: “We are delighted to welcome the Davidsons family into a new home here at Dollman Meadow, Houlton.
“This is an ideal development for young families, and the range of three, four and five bedroom, high quality homes that we’re bringing to Houlton, are reflective of this.
“Our show home opens at Houlton on Saturday 28th October, and we look forward to showcasing our properties on this exciting site itself.”
Richard Coppell, Development Director at Urban&Civic added: “It is wonderful to see Houlton truly come to life, and to share the excitement of our first homes with our very first families.
“Houlton has been designed to enhance the community – for future homeowners, neighbouring villages and the town of Rugby. We extend a warm welcome to the Davidson family, and look forward to them moving into their new home in the coming months.”
