Visitors are invited to step inside new showhome at Houlton
Visitors got their first chance to explore a new showhome at a housing development being built on the former Rugby Radio Station site.
Davidsons Homes unveiled a new five-bedroom showhome and marketing suite at Dollman Meadow, its development of new homes, on Saturday 28th October.
Dollman Meadow, off Crick Road, is part of the new village of Houlton, a project which will create 6,200 new homes, three new primary schools, a secondary school and a GP health centre on the outskirts of Rugby.
The Leicestershire housebuilder was the first company to start work at Houlton and Stephanie King, Sales Director at Davidsons Homes, said she was proud of the progress that the company had made on site so far.
She said: “Houlton is a landmark project for the area and we are very proud to be part of it, so we have been looking forward to opening the doors to our new showhome at Dollman Meadow.
“Our Newstead house type has proven popular at our other developments because of its wonderfully spacious layout featuring an impressive double height ceiling, which is why we opted to use this design for our showhome at Houlton.
“It was great to see everyone who came along to the launch weekend. We received lots of positive feedback about the showhome, and paired up another happy buyer with their new home.
“We are looking forward to showing the showhome off to visitors in the weeks and months ahead.”
Davidsons Homes began construction of Dollman Meadow in June 2016 and has honoured the former radio station’s history by naming several streets after the first transatlantic call, which took place between Rugby and Houlton, Maine, US in 1927.
The company is building two, three, four and five-bedroom homes at Dollman Meadow.
The new Houlton village is a joint venture between property development company Urban & Civic and Aviva Investors, and is on the Government’s list of national priority sites.
Homes are currently available at Dollman Meadow from £199,995. To find out more, call 07909 119 499 or visit www.davidsonsgroup.co.uk.
