Part Exchange helps family move to their dream home in Hugglescote
“In fact, I can’t fault a single part of the experience from Davidsons. Our Sales Manager Richard went above and beyond at every single opportunity.”
After three months in their new home, one family has said they have “fallen in love” with both their new home and Hugglescote, the village they now live in.
Tracey and Robert Watson moved into a three-bedroom Thornton townhouse at Davidsons Homes’ Hastings Park development off Lowe Street three months ago, just before Christmas 2023.
Along with their 18-year-old son Thomas, the family have been busy settling into their new home.
Tracey said: “We were in a quite unusual situation, as I owned a home in Northampton but we were actually renting in Thorpe Astley. Last year felt like the right time to sell my home and buy our own property to live in as a family. We visited the Davidsons Homes development in Hugglescote but things didn’t actually click into place until our second visit. We walked into the Thornton, which we ended up buying, and just fell in love with it.
“The layout of the house is one of our favourite things about it. I love the island in the kitchen, we all have our meals there so it really does feel like the heart of the home. The whole house is so light and airy, we love it. And we have so much space! Our bedroom is on the second floor which makes it feel like a real haven, tucked away from the rest of the house.
“We’ve been really lucky with this plot, as it will be overlooking a park and has a lovely view of the church. It’s so quiet here that we can hear birdsong and occasionally the chime of a church bell, it really is idyllic.”
Tracey and Robert used Davidsons Homes’ Part Exchange scheme to sell the home in Northampton.
Tracey said: “I can’t fault the Part Exchange scheme, we got a great price for our house and it helped us to move easily into our new property in Hugglescote.
“In fact, I can’t fault a single part of the experience from Davidsons. Our Sales Manager Richard went above and beyond at every single opportunity. If we had any issues, we just sent him an email and he would personally make sure that they got sorted quickly and efficiently.
“We’ve also fallen in love very quickly with Hugglescote. There’s a fantastic community spirit in the development itself, everyone looks out for each other and it has felt very welcoming and warm.
“It’s also in a great location. Robert travels all over the country in his job as an electrician, so it’s really handy to be able to get to motorways so easily.
“Overall, we can’t tell enough people good things about Davidsons Homes. We have been so lucky to move here and feel really happy to be living in our dream home.”
