Davidsons Homes scores a win for grassroots football in Burbage
The sponsorship has provided the team with brand-new kits proudly featuring the Davidsons Homes logo, helping the players step onto the pitch this season looking smart and feeling confident.
The partnership is part of Davidsons Homes’ ongoing commitment to supporting local communities around its developments, including its nearby Sunloch Meadows site in Burbage.
Matt Wailoo, coach at FC Burbage, said: “Grassroots football relies on the generosity of local businesses, and we’re really grateful to Davidsons Homes for their support. It means a lot to the players to have new kits and to feel part of something that’s backed by the local community. The boys are thrilled to wear them, and it’s given them a real boost.”
Simon Tyler, Sales and Marketing Director for Davidsons Homes South Midlands, said: “At Davidsons, we’re passionate about being part of the communities where we build, and it’s brilliant to be able to support a team that brings so many young people together.
“Clubs like FC Burbage do an incredible job of encouraging teamwork, confidence and pride, and we’re delighted to play a small part in helping them continue that.”
Founded by local volunteers, FC Burbage is a registered charity that provides opportunities for children and young people to develop their football skills in a friendly, inclusive environment. The club has a number of age-group teams and continues to grow year on year thanks to the dedication of parents, coaches and sponsors.
