Housebuilder bats for the local community with Gotham Cricket Club sponsorship
A local housebuilder is laying the foundations for a strong community innings with its support for grassroots sports and village life.
Housebuilder Davidsons Homes has announced its sponsorship of the Gotham Village Cricket Club Women’s Team, along with support for a key event in the club’s summer calendar – Gotham Cricket Festival Week, running from Sunday 27th July to Friday 1st August.
This comes as building work progresses apace at the Blackberry Gardens development off Leake Road, ahead of the showhome launch on Saturday 23rd August, when two beautifully appointed homes will open their doors to the public for the first time.
As part of the partnership, Davidsons Homes is sponsoring a full day of the festival and backing the women’s team, providing funds to buy new smart new kits for the team.

Their support for our women’s team means a great deal to the club and the community, and it’s fantastic to have a business investing locally as they become part of village life.”

Blackberry Gardens, Davidsons’ new development in Gotham, will bring a collection of carefully designed two, three, four and five-bedroom homes to the area, blending traditional architecture with modern living. It’s already proving to be a successful site, with several homes reserved even before showhomes are open.
