Customer Service Operative – Northamptonshire

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Operative to ensure our home buyers receive the best care following their move into their Davidsons Home.

As you will be in a customer-facing role and will be working in our customer’s new homes, we expect only the highest standard of maintenance and customer service. You will be responsible for undertaking various works for our customers from site handover at 6 months until the end of their 24-month period. Because of the issues you will be dealing with, construction or building experience is essential, ideally on this occasion with a joinery background; we also hold with great importance your passion for quality and professionalism at all times.

We are looking for someone preferably within the Northamptonshire area, who is multi-skilled and can put their hand to joinery, decorating, silicone and tiling. With your experience within these skills, you will be a self-made problem solver, and someone who can quickly identify any issues and know how to put it right, alongside following pre authorised job cards.

Responsibilities:

  • Following instructions from a works tablet to complete jobs accordingly, ensuring all appointments are kept on time and any materials required are collected prior to your appointment.
  • Resolve all defects in an efficient and courteous way, ensuring a high standard of work, leaving the customer feeling satisfied with your maintenance and tidying all working areas upon completion.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction and the ability to problem solve defects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with customer in a friendly and professional manner, exhibiting high service and standards to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Full UK driving licence
