Procurement Administrator

Location: Blisworth, Northamptonshire

We are recruiting for a full-time Procurement Administrator to join our South Midlands region.

This role will form part of the Commercial team, raising purchase orders and supporting the role of Procurement. The role will include liaising with suppliers and site and sales staff. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and confident in communicating on the phone and via email to ensure tasks are followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing of materials and plant purchase orders
  • Managing weekly reports
  • Liaising with Site Managers
  • Liaising with Supply Chain
  • Assisting with invoice queries
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Placing of purchase orders for sales upgrades and confirming customer choices

Required Skills

  • Good organisational and communication skills essential
  • Thorough and diligent approach to individual tasks
  • IT proficient, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience of COINS software would be an advantage
  • Self-motivated able to work on your own initiative
  • Knowledge of building material preferred but not essential
