New homes in Great Glen take shape

Building work at a new housing development in Great Glen is progressing well, with the first homes complete on site and a new community beginning to form.

Davidsons Homes is building a selection of 40 three, four and five-bedroom homes at St Cuthbert’s View, off London Road. The development opened earlier this year, with residents starting to move in this summer.

As well as providing much-needed new homes, the Leicestershire-based housebuilder is also making significant contributions to the community as part of the planning agreement for the development.
These include more than £700,000 towards a new community facilities building and a further £8,000 towards the improvement of cemeteries and burial grounds within Great Glen.

Stephanie King, Sales Director for Davidsons Homes, said: “We are so pleased that this new neighbourhood in Great Glen is now really take shape. “We are committed to tackle the growing demand for new homes across Leicestershire, and this new development has been carefully designed to help meet that need.

“St Cuthbert’s View offers a range of properties to suit buyers at all stages of the property ladder, from first-time buyers to downsizers and growing families. “We have received a great deal of interest in these beautiful new homes, so I would encourage house-hunters to visit the development to get an insight into what life could be like here.”

There’s currently a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses on sale at St Cuthbert’s View, with prices starting from £164,500.
