Support for Ashby Ivanhoe FC from Davidsons Homes

Local homebuilder Davidsons has sponsored planting at Ashby Ivanhoe FC and also provided kitbags for some of the younger club members. The club, which is nearly seventy years old, has twenty-one teams, from under 8s right through to the senior side. This year the senior team took part in the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

Stuart Bonser, club chairman, said “We are grateful to Davidsons Homes for their sponsorship. We’ve grown from just three teams five years ago, to twenty-one now, and all help is well received, enabling us to continue to grow. We have teams from a very young age and we encourage still younger ones to come along for a kick about. It was a great achievement for the club to be in the rounds of the FA Cup for the first time”.
