Sue Ryder benefits from Davidsons donation

A Sue Ryder charity shop in East Leake has benefited from a donation of £500 by local homebuilder Davidsons, who have a development in the area.

Diane Clarke, area sales manager for Davidsons, handed over the donation to shop manager Jill Darby.  Diane said “The Sue Ryder charity does such incredible work and we were delighted to help them. The shop is not far from our development so it’s great to do something locally as well as supporting an important national charity”.

Jill Darby, manager of the shop in Main Street, said “Many thanks to Davidsons for thinking of us.  We provide hospice and neurological care and we do whatever we can to be a safety net for our patients and their loved ones. Not only do we treat more conditions than any other UK charity in our hospices, neurological care centres and out in the community, we also campaign to improve the lives of people living with them. Donations like this are vitally important in enabling us to continue to with our work”.

Davidsons development is ‘Woodgate View’ on the Woodgate Road in East Leake LE12 6PX. It’s open 7 days a week – for more information call 01509 854 333 or visit: www.davidsonsgroup.co.uk
