Cancer Research UK benefits from Davidsons donation

A Cancer Research UK charity shop in Nuneaton has benefitted from a donation by local homebuilder Davidsons who have two developments in Nuneaton. The company had a number of spare items that had been bought for use in their showhomes and wanted to give them to the shop to support the charity.

The items included cushions, back packs, toys, kitchen items, trainers, towels and other home items. Sarahjane Giles, Area Sales Manager of Davidsons, took the items along to the shop in Church Street. Sarahjane said “We had a quite a few spare items and we were keen to put them to good use. Cancer Research UK does such great work so we wanted them to have them”.

Ann Bell, manager of the Church Street shop, said “Many thanks to Davidsons for thinking of us. We receive no government support for our research so donations like this are vital. There are some nice items which should sell well and enable us to increase our funds”.

Davidsons developments in Nuneaton are ‘Heritage View’ on The Long Shoot, and ‘Church Fields’ on Weddington Road. They also have developments across Leicestershire and in Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. For more details visit: www.davidsonsgroup.co.uk
