Davidsons Anstey wins award for best residential development

Davidsons Homes development at Anstey has been named the Best Residential development in the East Midlands Forum for the Built Environment (fbe) awards. The organisation represents a wide range of disciplines in the property, development and construction sector – from architects and planners to engineers and developers.

The awards are given to the best construction projects, residential and non residential, from Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire and recognise the work of whole team on the project. Ibstock based M-EC Consulting Development Engineers worked with Davidsons on the Anstey development.

Jef Todd, regional chairman of the fbe, said “I’d like to congratulate our very worthy winners. Once again we had some outstanding entries. The number and standard continues to grow each year making the judges’ job more difficult”.

Jason Glover, operations director of Davidsons, said “It’s great to be named as the best residential development in the East Midlands and it’s good that this award recognises the work of the whole team. The development at Anstey reflects our aim to be placemakers and not just homebuilders.  Wherever we build we pay attention to detail on layout, design and construction to create highly attractive developments and homes.”

Davidsons ‘St James Gate’ development is on Groby Road in Anstey – currently it has a range of four and five bedroom homes available from £305,000.
