That little bit extra from Davidsons

Lee Bradshaw and Emma Unwin were looking to move to somewhere that would be halfway between their places of work, and Ibstock was one of the places that fitted the bill.

Lee said “As we drove through Ibstock we saw the Davidsons Homes ‘coming soon’ sign, so we went on their website to find out more – it was really helpful with lots of information on the first homes that would be built there. I run a lighting company and some of the people who buy from us have dealings with various homebuilders and they said how good Davidsons build quality was. I was in the area on the day the development was launched so I called in and spoke to the sales manager Karen Townsend. I explained we were looking for that ‘forever’ home, that we wouldn’t have to move from. Karen said she had something really different – it was only a shell at that stage but I had a quick look in and loved it. I called Emma and she came across and loved it too, so we reserved.

Lee continued, Karen was great and helped us with everything, and we were all set to move in when the sale on our home fell through at the very last minute – we were all packed up and about to move. However we managed to find a new buyer fairly quickly which meant we could still keep a reservation on the home. We came over to look at the home as it was being built and it’s been nice to see it grow. Davidsons have been fantastic and everyone we have dealt with has given that little bit extra. We couldn’t be happier.

Stephanie King, Sales Director at Davidsons Homes, said €œWe work hard to make buying a home an enjoyable experience all the way through the process. It’s great to receive such positive comments from our customers about the way we do things, and about the design of our homes and developments. Our aim is to be placemakers, not just homebuilders.

Davidsons Ibstock development is called ‘Baker’s Croft’ and is opposite Sence Valley Nature Park – currently it has a range of 4 bedroom homes available from £265,000. Kitchens in all homes are fitted with a range of appliances, including oven, hob and integrated microwave – and stylish Roca sanitary ware features in bathrooms and en-suites.

The ‘Help to Buy’ scheme is available on many of the homes at the development. It’s for anyone who needs help to buy a new home worth up to £600,000 and not just for first time buyers – full details are available.
