Taking the stress out of moving
Lucia Curry and Stephen Green were looking to move home but had a property to sell so were delighted when Davidsons said they could help using either their Assisted Sale or Part Exchange schemes. They were looking to buy a 4 bedroom home at Davidsons Homes ‘Lavender Fields’ development on Kirklington Road, Rainworth – they had looked at other properties but felt that the Davidsons homes were completely different and offered superior design.
Stephen said “The Davidsons team were great, everyone was very accommodating. They helped us to buy using their Assisted Sale plan – but we could also have used their Part Exchange scheme, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a buyer. The Sales Manager took a very active role, she really owned everything, sorted all the issues, and came back to us with clarity about the whole process. We were given a completion date and Davidsons stuck to it”.
“We liked the simplicity of the design of the homes and the great use of space. We have two huge rooms downstairs which come off a central hallway. It’s the quality of the fittings and the finish that really sets Davidsons apart”.
“There are lots of features which come as standard that others don’t offer. We were able to choose things like tiles, handles and colours to personalise our home. We had a very enjoyable time doing it and spent five or six hours going through all the possible combinations. We ordered some extras too, which were all installed exactly as we had asked. The quality of everything is very good and Davidsons attention to detail is excellent” said Stephen and Lucia.
Stephen added “Moving in day went really well. They took the stress out of it. When we arrived the home was open and the cleaners were there, making sure it was all looking good. Everything worked which was marvellous. It wasn’t the case when I bought a new home from someone else previously. All in all it was an extremely pleasurable process”.
