Nick and Rachel Shaw were looking to move home next year, but when they discovered Davidsons Homes ‘Grange Meadows’ development at Long Eaton they decided they would like to move straight away – and Davidsons were able to help them do this. As owners of an older property Nick and Rachel were keen to buy a brand new home as they wanted somewhere where there would be no DIY or renovating. They had looked at other houses but felt that the Davidsons homes were that bit different.

We feel like Davidsons have built the home just for us – it’s almost bespoke.” said Nick and Rachel.
The couple were pleased with the whole process and said that the sales team and the site manager had been really helpful. Nick added “The Davidsons team were wonderful. They took away a lot of the stress that goes with buying a home, which meant we could enjoy the nice bits. Everything was handled really well, we were kept in the loop and they helped us to purchase using their Assisted Sale and Part Exchange plans, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a buyer”.
“The after sales service has been excellent too. The site manager came round the Monday after we moved in to check on everything and spotted that a light bulb had gone. He reappeared 10 minutes later with a replacement. It gives you real confidence that if they do the small things so well, then the bigger stuff will also be taken care of. Nothing is too much trouble for them”.
