Davidsons Homes has started the first stages of construction at a new development of homes in Sinfin.
The first phases of construction are now underway on 130 new homes which is being built on a 5.9ha site known as Wragley Fields, off Wragley Way.
A reserved matters application was approved by Derby City Council in July 2016 after outline permission was granted in September 2014, and the new development will include three, four and five-bedroom homes once complete.
Stephanie King, Sales Director for Davidsons Homes, said the developer was looking forward to welcoming visitors to the site later this year.
She said: “We’re delighted to be starting work in Sinfin, and we’re excited to be building a development which we believe will become a real asset for the area.
“We have worked closely with the local authorities to create a development which will not only sit well within its surroundings, but also provide the right types of home to meet demand in the area. We are building a wide range of homes here which will suit the needs of prospective buyers at all stages of the property ladder.
“We expect these homes to be popular with buyers, and we have already begun receiving calls at our head office about the homes being built here. Sinfin is a great location and has Derby city centre on its doorstep, which is sure to be an attractive proposition for people considering a move here.
“We’ve built a reputation for providing high-quality homes at our developments, and we’re looking forward to being able to welcome visitors to the site later this year, to show them what we have to offer.”
The first homes at the development in Sinfin will be released for sale later this year, with a showhome and sales centre to follow.
