Sneak peek at first homes being built in Houlton

Home-hunters in Rugby have been given a sneak peek into how the first homes will look at the eagerly-anticipated Houlton development.

The recently-released artist’s impressions show that Davidsons Homes’ collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes on the site will present an elegant street scene with plenty of green areas and trees.

The homes represent the first phase of RadioStation Rugby, a 1,200 acre development which will eventually comprise 6,200 new homes, three primary schools, a secondary school, a GP health centre, 31 hectares of employment space and 299 hectares of open space.

The scheme, a joint venture between property development company Urban&Civic and Aviva Investors, is on the Government’s list of national priority sites, and is set to be delivered over a 20-year-period. Davidsons Homes is set to build the first 250 homes at Houlton.

Sales Director for Davidsons Homes, Stephanie King, said: “It is fantastic to be part of this landmark development in Rugby, and we’re excited to be able to show buyers a sneak peak of the first homes we will be building here.

“We’ve been inundated with enquiries about the homes at Houlton ever since we announced our plans to build here. There is a wide variety of high-quality homes on offer at the development, including homes which are ideal for first-time buyers and large executive-style homes as well.

“We’re planning to release the first homes for sale at Houlton in late March, and we’re sure that the homes will prove popular with buyers.”
