It’s the final chance for home-hunters to snap up a property at a prestigious new Leicestershire development.
Davidsons Homes, based in Ibstock, is building 42 new homes at its Lakeside development, off Church Road in Scraptoft.
And now just one home remains available for sale – a two-bedroom detached bungalow, known as The Lodge.
The bungalow is now being used as a view home, meaning that visitors can explore the property, and features an open-plan living/dining area, a high specification kitchen and contemporary bathroom.
Stephanie King, Sales and Marketing Director for Davidsons Homes, said: “Lakeside has been a successful development, one which has helped us meet the demand for new homes around Scraptoft.
“With it’s easy connections to Leicester, the development has been well received by commuters who enjoy a more rural environment.
“The final bungalow is complete with integrated appliances and quality fittings, which will make a fantastic home for someone looking to downsize.
“As this is the last home at this development, we are anticipating a high volume of interest. I would therefore advise home-hunters to act quickly to ensure they don’t miss out.”
The government-backed Help to Buy scheme is available on the property. Using the scheme a buyer can purchase their home with a five per cent deposit and just a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is then paid off as an equity loan, which remains interest free for five years.
The Lodge is priced from £209,995 and includes free flooring.
