6 homes already sold as Davidsons launches new Ravenstone showhome

Davidsons Homes has just launched the showhome at its newest Leicestershire development at Ravenstone. The showhome at the development, ‘St Michael’s Gate’, is a new design called The Thorne, featuring open plan living.

‘St Michael’s Gate,’ is a mix of three, four and five bedroom properties from £259,000. 6 homes have already been sold. The development is named after St Michael’s church in the heart of Ravenstone village and there are many local amenities such as a Post Office, village shop, garden centre, primary school and pre-school.

The Thorne is a five bedroom double fronted home with a detached double garage. The whole ground floor is a stunning open plan design with a feature ‘live in’ kitchen/ diner and lounge which occupies the rear of the property. There is also a separate study, separate utility, and open plan ‘optional space’ which you can use to suit your needs.

The first floor has a beautiful main bedroom with dressing area and ensuite, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The second floor has a further two bedrooms and a shower room.

The showhome’s interior design features a number of themed rooms – there’s a tennis theme to one of the bedrooms with a mural of Andy Murray, and a pony theme in one of the other bedrooms. The ‘optional space’ has been used as a dining area featuring an opulent chandelier and three dimensional wallpaper that looks like traditional wood panelling.

Stephanie King, sales director at Davidsons Homes, said “The Thorne is a new homestyle with an open plan design downstairs that we think our customers will find original and interesting. The showhome is fantastic but there has already been a lot of interest at the development, with 6 of the homes sold.”

All homes have an excellent specification – kitchens are fitted with a range of integrated AEG appliances, including oven, hob and integrated microwave – and stylish Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware features in bathrooms and en-suites.

There are also lots of ways to personalise your home, depending on the stage of building, by choosing different colours, doors, handles, paint throughout, and lots of other details – many at no extra cost. The ‘Help to Buy’ and Part Exchange schemes are available on many of the homes. Details are available at the development.

The company recently received five stars once again in the National Home Builders Federation customer satisfaction survey – this was the third year in a row that Davidsons had achieved the highest rating.
