With their children having flown the nest, John 76, and his wife Carol, 72, were looking for a smaller property within Brackley to stay close to their family.

Carol said: “There are a lot of new home developments around Brackley but the varied range of properties at Davidsons’ development caught our attention, so we decided to see what was available.

“Brackley is a lovely town and we were keen to stay in the area, but wanted something that was more manageable for us.

“We weren’t specifically looking for a new build home at first, but we decided that it was more cost effective if we bought new. Now with the decorating and maintenance work taken care of, we have more time to ourselves.

“We took a look around the development around two years ago, before we put our home on the market. Construction work had just begun and there were only a few homes on the land. Now the development is complete and looking fantastic.

“Davidsons have been very accommodating and we’re very happy in our new home.”

Davidsons Homes is building 44 new homes at Bronnley Gate and just one four-bedroom home remains available for sale.
