Ibstock residents congratulate Davidsons on new homes in village
Local Ibstock residents Ian and Janet Hartley live near the Davidsons ‘Baker’s Croft’ development which is now nearing completion. They were so impressed with the new homes and with the way Davidsons had managed the building of them, that they put pen to paper to let the company know.
Ian and Janet said in their letter “Davidsons are to be congratulated on creating what is a delightful estate and an asset to Ibstock. Moreover, because of our proximity to the development we could have been one of the most affected during construction, but in fact, we had very little disturbance from noise, dust, etc. The development has obviously been very well managed over the last two and a half years. Our very best wishes for the future of the company”.
Davidsons Homes construction director, Chay Walker, and site manager Philip Clark, wanted to say a personal thank you for the comments, and met with Ian Hartley at the development.
Construction director Chay Walker said “It’s great to hear this from someone who isn’t even a customer. We do aim, wherever we build, to create a great place to live, a real community, and not just build houses. We put a lot of thought into the design of every new development and then build it with great care and attention to detail. We get lots of positive feedback from our customers on how we do things, but these comments from someone living near the development were really appreciated by all of the construction team.”
Davidsons Homes ‘Bakers Croft’ development in Ibstock is opposite the entrance to Sence Valley Nature Park. There are a number of three, four and five bedroom homes still available.
Davidsons have just completed their 1000th home since starting building homes in 2008 – this was built at ‘Bakers Croft’. For the third year in a row Davidsons have received five stars in the National Home Builders Federation/NHBC customer satisfaction survey – this is the highest rating.
