9 homes sold ahead of launch of new Whetstone development

Davidsons latest Leicestershire development, ‘The Grange’, on Dog and Gun Lane in Whetstone has proved hugely popular, with 9 homes sold ahead of the opening of the marketing suite this weekend.

Interested purchasers have contacted the company in significant numbers and have reserved homes from plan. Stephanie King, Sales Director, said “We have had so much interest here, it’s been fantastic. Customers have been visiting our nearby developments to find out more, but we’re delighted the marketing suite is now ready. We have themed it in a ‘Best of British’ design, and it will have all the information on the homes we are building here.””

There are just 29 homes at the development, which has a mix of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. Currently there are 4 and 5 bedroom homes available from £310,000.

One of the homes at Whetstone is a new design, a double fronted 5 bedroom detached home with a detached double garage, called The Snibston. It features a large sitting room with French doors to the garden, a family/kitchen area, a separate dining room, a study, and an ensuite to the main bedroom – as well as a family bathroom.

Other housetypes include Davidsons popular Featherstone 4 bedroom home and the Newstead and Thornley 5 bedroom homes. All homes have an excellent specification. Kitchens are fitted with a range of appliances, including oven, hob and integrated microwave – and stylish Roca sanitary ware features in bathrooms and en-suites.

There are also lots of ways to personalise your home, depending on the stage of building, by choosing different colours, doors, handles, paint throughout, and lots of other details,“ many at no extra cost.

The ‘Help to Buy’ scheme will be available on many of the homes. It’s for anyone who needs help to buy a new home worth up to £600,000 – not just for first time buyers. Details are available at the development.
