New Leicestershire development for Davidsons

Davidsons Homes launched its newest development at Ibstock last week, on Halloween, with an official opening by the Chairman of Ibstock Parish Council, Stuart Farmer, and James Wilson, Managing Director of Davidsons.

‘Bakers Croft’, which is opposite Sence Valley Nature Park, was launched from a showhome, with a Halloween themed evening. There was a van serving hot jacket potatoes and a sweet cart with lots of goodies for the kids. The local scout troop was also in attendance helping with the launch by offering food and drinks to visitors, as part of their catering badge.

Mr Farmer said “I’m really pleased to be here tonight to launch this new development. Davidsons involved the Parish Council from day one so we have worked together to identify how the development can benefit the village. It has been really refreshing to work with a developer in this way – we were able to act as a funnel for comments from local people and enable a dialogue with Davidsons”.

The showhome is a 5 bedroom ‘Newstead’ featuring a gallery walkway over the large family kitchen/dining area, and some eye-catching interior design including a ‘Jessie J’ mural in one of the bedrooms and a wall of Penguin paperback covers in the study.

There is a range of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes priced from £210,000. There is an excellent specification in all of the homes. Kitchens are fitted with a range of appliances, including oven, hob and integrated microwave – and stylish Roca sanitary ware features in bathrooms and en-suites.
