Customers say homebuilder is 5 star
Leicestershire homebuilder Davidsons, who have just opened a new development in Anstey, have received 5 stars in the latest customer satisfaction survey carried out by the Home Builders Federation and the National House-Building Council.
The survey, which is in its eighth year, and is independently verified, found that customer satisfaction levels across the industry had climbed annually to a level ‘that matches or exceeds those in almost any other industry or sector’.
The 5 star rating is the highest available, and is awarded to a home builder if 90% or more of their customers are happy to recommend their builder to a friend and at least 90% must be very or fairly satisfied with the quality of their home. The result is a particularly significant achievement for Davidsons as a smaller local builder, because previously only larger national builders have been eligible for the survey.
Jason Glover, Operations Director at Davidsons, said “This is the first time we have taken part in the survey, so we are delighted to have received 5 stars. Customer satisfaction is really important to us, and we work hard to get it right. The 5 star rating coincides with us having just sold our 500th home in the East Midlands since we set up 5 years ago. They are important milestones and our success is due to a committed team who have all helped us grow.”

Davidsons new development at Anstey is called ‘St James Gate.’ It is on Groby Road and has two showhomes. Initially a range of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes have been released with prices from £210,000 to £450,000.
