World Champion Paralympian helps launch new Anstey development

Dan Greaves, World Champion and Paralympic medallist for the discus event, helped launch a new development for Leicestershire homebuilder Davidsons.

As well as being the current World Champion and a silver medallist in the London Paralympics, Dan was last year’s Leicester Mercury Sportsman of the Year and comes from Anstey, so was a natural choice to help Davidsons launch their latest development.

The homebuilder held a fun ‘Best of British’ themed event including a Town Crier, cup cakes and summer cocktails. The Town Crier toured Anstey announcing the opening before joining Dan to officially launch the development which is called ‘St James Gate’.

The new development is on Groby Road and has two showhomes. Initially a range of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes have been released with prices from £210,000 to £460,000.

Stephanie King, Sales Director at Davidsons Homes, said “This is our first development for some time in Leicestershire and we are seeing a lot of interest – three homes have been reserved already. There are two showhomes, a 4 bedroom and a 5 bedroom, so lots for visitors to see. And we are a member of the Government Help to Buy scheme – visitors can get all the details here at the development.”

Kitchens in all homes are fitted with a range of appliances, including oven, hob and integrated microwave – and stylish Roca sanitary ware features in bathrooms and en-suites. There are also lots of ways to personalise your home by choosing different colours, doors, handles, paint throughout, and lots of other details – many at no extra cost.
